It’s been a while since I enjoyed an “electronic” album that much.
DJ Koze is back after 8 years with a proper LP, inviting his friends along (Apparat, Matthew Dear, Caribou, etc.)
This album is a concentrate of creativity, rythms and melody.
The songs I chose here are two house tracks. But it doesn’t necessarily reflect the style of the whole album (not at all actually). It’s just the tracks I dig the most right now.
Have a listen, you won’t regret it!
Enjoy!

It’s only recently that I discovered this Belgian band who’s released its first album last year.
I’ve always known such a small country could produce so many great talents and this is just another proof of it.
The group merges and combines a lot of various influences throughout the 12 songs of the album, from Animal Collective to Ratatat, from Four Tet to Yeasayer. This mix -that we can think was created somewhere on the west coast of the USA- creates a great blend of brilliant intimate and catchy tracks.
I’ve heard the guys are currently working on a new album. Let’s hope they make it even better than this first successful try.
In the meantime, I could only advice you to discover (and buy) the album here or stream it on Spotify
Enjoy!
